Am I Good Enough?

The words "I'll never be enough" often run through my mind. I think that perfection is reachable and get disgusted when I see someone looking beautiful on social media and in real life. People act as if they are princes and princesses just so they don't have to face reality. The thing is we don’t recognize that these people are truly facades, but we want to think that maybe somebody has it all together, something that we can strive for. Strive for nothing less than Jesus’ will, do what He wants and that’s where you’ll see that you are good enough to do what the Creator wants, so who cares what anybody besides the Creator thinks. Stand with God and be perfect in His eyes, or stand with the world and be imperfect in everyone’s eyes.
He chose us so why do we question our worth? Society says that we are worthless one minute and priceless the next, so what does God say. He says we are worth His one and only Son, Jesus. He gave His Son to show that we are worth everything to Him. We can't do anything to repay that, but we can be grateful and stop questioning our worth and just accept that He considers us priceless, so we should stop looking for other's approval and stop thinking that we are the only ones who don't have it all together. He chose the broken people to lead Israel and to help build His Church, so who needs to act like we have it together, because He knows we don't, so who are we trying to fool. Perfection is only for God, so stop striving for the unattainable and embrace the perfectable. He's making us diamonds, so stop thinking that you don't look perfect, diamonds take thousands of years to make, but He perfects us much faster. We are what He considers perfect, we need to let Him define perfect, because He is the one without flaw, we are solely His creation, that is being changed in the way He wants, so to Him we are perfect just the way we are. No reason to change, unless He brings on the pressure.
Face the world head on today, and everyday, because He wants us to be with Him and not in this corrupt world. Each breath we breathe is because He thinks we deserve it, so if the Creator of the universe wants you here and cares about you, then what makes you think you aren’t good enough. Why can’t we see that there is immense love coming from Him and that He cares so much, doesn’t that mean we are so much more than good enough, doesn’t that mean we are immeasurably loved and priceless. Just read John 13:16 and that will say all the love he has for us and why would He love us that much if we aren’t considered to be good enough, or more than that.
Who are you trying to fool?
Who defines your worth?
Who sees your worth?
You are Loved.
You are Priceless.
You are more than good enough.
You are exactly who you need to be.
