Happy June!

I am excited to say that Jesus continues to be my hope, my God, and my Savior. He has helped me in the bad times and has been there when I’ve had everything going my way. God has helped me through so many battles, but no matter how many times I have messed up, He has been there to pick me up. No matter what this world has thrown at me, I still am able to choose to claim Him as my Savior.

God is the most reliable person that you will ever encounter. He is there to dust off the dirt when you fall and He will clean you up and set you back on the path to continue your run. God is here when you are able to sprint and when you can barely walk. He will help you win the race. He is not just a spectator, He is the only runner who will turn and pick you up every single time.

I’m glad that God knows everything about me, because I don’t think I would be able to continue to fight if I didn’t know that there was someone who knows exactly what I am feeling and can comfort me. He will rejoice when you accomplish something and He will feel your pain when you fall short.

I find it amazing that God is unchanging and has been there since before earth was created and will be there even after earth fades away. Nothing has ever been like God, nothing is like God, and nothing will ever be like God.

I am awed that I get to feel God’s love every single day. Today is yet another amazing day that He is here for me and ready to help. We can relax in the fact that He will take care of us and love us, no matter what; but that should also push us to do more for Him and His glory.

He cares so much about me and it is such a blessing to know that I have someone who is here for me even when others aren’t. Jesus never has to be impressed to love us. He loves us for who we are.

He will never stop loving us. He decided that He wants to love us and will never stop loving us no matter what we will do or have done. I can mess up every single day of my life and He will still love me and He will still be there.

Nobody is greater than my God. Nothing is greater than my God. There is no idol that can take the throne of Him. No idol can rest in His throne without feeling threatened. He is the only one I want on the throne of my heart.

This world gives us only once in a lifetime opportunities, but God gives us a chance that lasts forever. We have from our first breath to our last to decide to change for Him and His glory. He never shuts the door, His arms are always open, you just need to ask. Nothing else has an opening of forever.

His timeline is forever, but this world’s timeline is limited.

Prayer:

Lord, thank You for the love that You pour out upon us. You have been here since the beginning and You will be there when it is all over. Thank You for continuing to love us when we mess up. It is such a hard thing to mess up and then take on humility when we realize that you are still going to love us afterwards.

Lord, please bless our week as we all step into a new week where You will be here to help us and guide us. Lord, please help this broken world to love and to care for each other. It is hard to see the hate be spread out upon each other, but it most be even harder for You as the Creator. Lord, please guide us and the leaders of the world as they choose actions that affect so many people. Lord, please help us to stand up for what is right and help us to not attack one another, but agree in a civil way. Lord, please keep us all safe this week.

Thank You for taking the time to hear our prayers and thank You for more love than we could ever deserve. Thank You for the forgiveness and thank You for more blessings than I could ever count. Thank You for the blessings in disguise and the ones that are clearly visible. In Your blessed name, Amen.
