How Can I Ever Praise Him Enough?

I always feel like giving the Lord enough praise is the hardest thing. He created us and knows every single hair on our heads, so what can ever say thank you for everything He does? We are told to praise Him in everything we do, which truly is hard, but with enough practice and work I believe it truly is possible. If we thank the Lord for each breath and worship Him and just cover ourselves with love and thankfulness for every little thing we receive, it feels as if we could make up for all our sins.

Everyday we must take in things that He has given us and point those things towards Him and give the Lord all the glory. We should be overjoyed that He cares and blesses us with talents. I always think of my dad who plays the violin and praises God just for the ability. Whenever somebody thanks my dad for playing or compliments him, he just replies with "Praise God." Such a simple phrase, but it is so true and is necessary, at least to me, to praise the one and only True God.

We praise Him because He turns all the nobodies in the world to something beautiful. Which seems to us as impossible, but for Him it's just an everyday thing to make a broken person bring a big impact to someone's life. It may be obvious, or it may not be, but all the same we can be grateful for Him using our mistakes for the better. All our broken pieces, He chooses to use those, so a little praise can't cover what He deserves. We can't praise Him enough, that's because He deserves everything and so much more, because He created this world and gave each person their breath, all to come save us in the end. He cares and we need to thank Him for what the Lord does.

Praise Him in all you do, because it's always worth it to try and give Him the praise he deserves. Every time you thank Him, you humble yourself before Him and that's the best way to get closer to Him. Every chance you get just say a little thank you by giving the Lord credit for anything you have done. Whether you are in the midst of chaos, or are overwhelmed by how easy life is, praise Him for each breath you breathe. He made you, so there is never too little a number of things to praise the Lord for.

This may sound simple or extremely hard, but the result of doing this, is such a wonderful feeling. You don't feel as proud as saying thank you when someone says that you're intelligent, you humble yourself with each praise and it fills you with joy, just to give credit where credit is do. You may be having trouble with finding something to praise Him for, but just consider what you have that others don't. There is always something to be thankful for, which is why the United States has a whole holiday about it. Just take some time and consider each day something that you can be grateful for, big or small, and just praise God for it.
