How do we face this battle?

Life is hard. Sometimes we end up on our knees begging for a change and we get so bogged down by life that every breath is a struggle. We're forced to get up and try to make an effort, when all we want is to get into our nice warm pajamas and curl up under the covers without a care in the world. So how can we face the burdens of society? What can we do as Christians to still be a light when the world seems to cover us up?
"With God, all things are possible." ~ Matthew 19:26
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." ~ Philippians 4:6
These two verses I wear on bracelets and when I'm struggling I just read them and let the words soak in. I use nail polish to create messages to myself on my nails, from songs I love. I listen to Christian music. I read the Bible. I journal. In all, I try to center myself on Christ through all of these things, because without Him, my life is meaningless, without Him I have no purpose.
We can face the burdens of society be centering ourselves on Christ. I know centering yourself isn't easy, and that it takes time and action, but if you really want a better life, a Christian life, a life with less burden; then placing Christ at the center is worth the battle with the world.
The hardest part of the battle is getting back up when you fall, because playing dead is easier than facing the fight, but playing dead is what you did before Christ. You were walking dead, because you were living in sin with nothing to fight for. He has made you alive, so it's time to stop playing dead, it's time to stop dethroning the One who gave you life. He will help you fight through life, but only if you fight to give Him the throne of your life. When you give the world control, you've lost the battle. Your dreams will not be accomplished because they are not His dreams.
It's time to claim God as the center of your life, it's time to start winning the war, it's time to have God fighting on your side, so that you may beat the devil and the world. God is my center, and God will take my priority is what you must claim and what I need to claim.
Prayer:
Lord, You know me better than anybody ever could. I want You to fight on my side. I want You to be the King of my heart. Claim Your throne. Thank You for knocking and allowing me to accept when I'm ready. Thank You for fighting for me and creating a future for me. Thank You for Your belief in me. I'm grateful for the plans You have for me, even though I may not yet see them unfolding.
Help me Lord, I need Your sword in the battle. I cannot defeat the enemy fleets on my own, please tear them down. Help me make it through this life, with the positivity that You have. Help me reflect You. I know that I cannot fight this, one against the devil's army will never work, without Your helping hand and Your angels guarding me. Help me and others to continue to be fighter. Amen.
