Strength In Weakness

Happy weekend!
This entire week I’ve been feeling weak. I’ve felt like I won’t be able to manage another day with the pain that I’ve been feeling. It seems that everyday became harder this week, as I added more things that I needed to do for school and as the pain became worse and worse.
The amazing thing is that with each day, God gave me the strength I needed. It’s amazing to see just how much God has been giving me. Without God, I’d probably not have left my bed on Tuesday, but He gave me the strength to not only make it through each day, but also enough to thrive.
I don’t mean thrive as in, it was an amazing week, but rather that I was filled with joy and peace about what I was doing and what God is doing.
He wants us to thrive.
It’s important to remember that God has everything under control and no matter what we face, He will help us through it. I know it’s hard to see that He can pull us, but He can and He will.
God will provide. He will give us exactly what we need; but when we need it, not when we want it.
If you are hurt, He will give you healing. If you are overwhelmed, He will give you peace. If you feel like you can’t, He will make it so you can. There is not a problem, not a situation that He doesn’t have the answer to.
He will be there when you need Him, you need only ask. He was there when you needed Him, you were held in His arms. He is here right now, and He’s not leaving.
God is thinking about you in every moment, so don’t be worried about whether you can; but rather be prepared for when He gives you the ability.
I know it’s hard to think that you will come out of this, and even harder to believe that you will come out stronger; but God will lead you to where you need to be. There is not a moment that is unaccounted for, God has a plan and every moment of pain and joy is required to fulfill that plan.
God provides for the sparrows, so how much more will He provide for us? God will provide in our darkest hours, so don’t turn away; but rather praise Him in advance and for what God has done before.
God will not just give you what you need to make it through, but He will make it so either you are thriving today, or will be one day.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16
He loves us so much. He will give us what we need given, and so much more. Don’t doubt for a second that He will provide, because He will, just be patient. When has God not given us what we need? He never has and He never will, we will always receive what is necessary.
Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the air we get to breathe. Thank You for every moment on this wonderful planet. Thank You for giving us such breathtaking things to look at. Thank You for strength. Thank You for being there when we need You most.
Lord, please help us through this next week. Please help us to cling to You and please help us to grow in You. Lord, please help us to become more like You. Help us to not worry about what we can't do, but rejoice in what we can.
Thank You for allowing us to pray to You. In Your name, Amen.
